Las Vegas in Edinburgh ??

…. back in May a friend of our proposed us to try this new experience. Robin had already been to a similar event, where a venue is transformed in a Las Vegas style environment. This time Las Vegas took place in one of Edinburgh’s bigger shopping centre – Ocean Terminal. As the name suggests the venue is on the sea/forth side of the Scottish capital this is an immense building with shops, restaurants and a multi-screen cinema.

To make the event a proper Las Vegas 80’s Disco party, folks are asked to dress-up in style. Women have a much wider choice, with boas and faders while men are restricted to the usual suit and maybe a hat.

The event was organised around a stage. The playing band was incredibly good, fine singer and musician wide repertoire of 80s songs including Sinatra’s songs.

A night to remember ….. good fun.
