The events around the city are back to back. The night before hogmanay is time for some dancing. The Grassmarket is hosting a interesting mix of music and dance from three different stages. We also joined in for a couple of dance . . .

On the 29th just after work it was time to start enjoying the entertainment offered by the capital. Three years back we were part of the procession but this year we are just spectators, happy ones!

The day after xmas we thought was a good idea to go to the stadium for some rugby. Great match (the local team won) but withstanding the chilled temperature wasn’t easy.

This year we spent the christmas day at friend’s. It was a truly lovely day. Thanks for the hospitality…
