August, time for festivals and rain

The Fringe Festival kicked off today (… it was “today” when I originally wrote this post) with the cavalcade, the parade of artists through Princes Street. The Scottish capital is in a complete state of chaos, the local are outnumbered by tourists. At the same time the Tatoo at the castle starts, so for the next month fireworks twice a day yippy.

In the meanwhile I’m practicing some video recording with a wee camcorder. Sincerely shooting live action is very different from taking still images. To make the video interesting you need some decent action happening and a very still hand. Then the most challenging part of it all is video editing all the sequences together. I’ll post some videos soon, excited? don’t be – I’m just a beginner.

About the weather, in one word it sucks! This morning I was out for a run and a flash shower ruined it all. At the moment it is not easy to cope with it – honest. Everytime that you go out you’ll get some boring rain. Honestly I thought to get used to the weather, but clearly this is not the case!!
